Creativity and the female form were the twin passions of Alain Bernardin, who founded the Crazy Horse in 1951. A key figure of the Art du Nu (Nude Art) movement, Bernardin ensured that the Crazy Horse moved with the times, and adapted to each emerging cultural trend.
The cabaret has distinguished itself with a tradition of inviting guest performers and guest artists to collaborate with the show and broaden its appeal. From Dita Von Teese to Arielle Dombasle, via Paco Rabanne and Karl Lagerfeld, some of the world's brightest and best have helped to make the Crazy Horse what it is today.
