AFTER IMPORTANT RENOVATION WORK, COME DISCOVER THE YVES SAINT-LAURENT MUSEUM, FORMERLY THE YVES SAINT-LAURENT FOUNDATION! AS OF OCTOBER 3, 2017, DISCOVER THE WORLD OF ONE OF THE GREATEST FRENCH FASHION DESIGNERS AND VISIT THE MUSEUM IN A INTIMATE MANNER AFTER OPENING HOURS!
Experience a unique itinerary that will showcase several of YSL's creations and explore the salons of the haute couture fashion house as well as other spaces dedicated to various exhibits on fashion, art and design.
Begin your visit at the historic entrance of the fashion house, giving you direct access to the luxurious salons of the site. Admire the great designer's most iconic creations: the smoking tuxedo for women, the safari suit, trench-coat and jumpsuit. Continue your exploration in the different gallery's of the museum where your guide will reveal all of the backstage secrets to this fashion label and couture house: original sketches, collection boards, atelier workshop annotations etc.
Finally, you will also have the chance to discover the design icon's studio, the birthplace of each great collection. The tour will end with a look at YSL's most important inspirations and influence, from Pablo Picasso to Van Gogh and Matisse.
